Our Loan Advisors want to help make the process of homebuying feel like a walk in the park. Recently, a first-time home buyer Army Veteran was finding it tough to get his offer accepted for a home. Not only was the market low on inventory, so there was a lot of competition for homes, but he was also using a VA loan which many people have misconceptions about. Luckily, our Loan Advisor was able to step in and educate the agents and sellers about VA loans and help this Veteran navigate the turbulent market. In the end, the client was able to secure the home he wanted for zero money down with funds to spare for home improvements. The client truly appreciated the Loan Advisor’s support and education on the financing process.
Reaching Across Borders
Obtaining a mortgage is no small feat, let alone when one of the co-borrowers is in another country during the whole process. Recently, one of our Loan Advisors was in this exact situation with a client. The client was closing on a home with his wife, the co-borrower, who was in Norway. International borders weren't the only obstacles to overcome either. The stateside client was also self-employed and already owned a second home with another family member, his father. With all these hoops to jump through, the Loan Advisor and his team had to think of creative strategies, like organizing international notarization of loan processing paperwork, to help their clients get their mortgage. In the end, the clients were able to get their new home, and were genuinely thankful their Loan Advisor went the extra mile to make it all possible.
Leave a Lasting Impression
One of our Loan Advisors recently was able to help their clients close on their new home in practically record time. The family was closing on a 1750 square foot home and needed to get it appraised. Last autumn, they had to fight with the appraiser to get an accurate assessment. Due to the pandemic, their appraisal was surprisingly different this time and was finalized in less than seven business days. The real estate agent was shocked and impressed by how fast our Loan Advisors was able to move the process along so quickly. The client was so thrilled by our Loan Advisor's preparedness, hard work, and dedication. Both the client and the real estate agent said they would recommend our Loan Advisors to friends, family, and prospective clients.

This week's Loan Officer provided these services and had an equally responsive client, so the loan process flew by like a breeze. Through Thick and Thin
A family was facing substantial financial challenges when a family member, who had used our services before, referred them to one of our Loan Officers. The new clients owned a business that went under during the Great Recession. Since then, they were in significant debt with the IRS to the point where they were living paycheck to paycheck without any savings and a mid-500s credit score. Thankfully, their home had built up some equity, and the clients had stable jobs. In mid-2019, our Loan Officer reached out to local brokers to find options for this family and was only met with bad news. However, this Loan Officer didn't give up and helped the clients create a game plan so that in a year, they could look for more again. A few weeks later, the Loan Officer received an email about a temporary option, one that would help the clients pay off their IRS debts, mortgage, and other outstanding payments while thinking about refinancing. Despite all the financial hardships, including those inflicted from the pandemic, in 2020, the clients were able to refinance into a conventional 30 year fixed loan at 3% and close in less than 45 days. The clients were so thankful for the Loan Officer's dedication and felt immense relief that their financial stress was gone. They said their lives were changed for the better thanks to the help of this Loan Officer.
