After months of searching different listings, and then life coming to a slowdown, our buyer was thrilled to find the perfect home! Having worked with LendUS in the past, the listing agent knew that we at LendUS could successfully deliver on our promises. We were able to work closely with the realtor to shorten the contingency period and offer a 25-day close. When all was said and done, we won the bid and successfully closed on time!

Due to the pandemic a lot of people are adjusting the way they work, and so are we! We had a loan closing on May 15th and to keep everybody safe and socially distanced we went for a mobile solution to get everything done. We decided to use our space to receive the title company and the client separately, so we could have all documentation signed accordingly. The title company was in the parking lot, gave us the package, we took it inside and explained everything we needed for our client. After that we took the documents back to the title company in the parking lot and they went to their office to complete the package and send it to our closer so the loan could be funded. We are totally driven to do whatever it takes to help our clients close their loans no matter what the situation.

During this time of uncertainty, our client found the guidance and support to get the loan she and her family needed. A first-time homebuyer with a daughter, and a single mom, who also owns a restaurant, was disappointed when she found out the day before her loan was supposed to close that the Federal Housing Agency (FHA) changed their credit score requirements making her loan not fundable. Our loan advisor and regional president met with both the listing and buyer’s real estate agent’s explaining that their client’s loan could not be funded because her credit score was too low, but that we have options. We would be able to do a rapid credit rescore if she could pay down some debt, and that is exactly what happened. The real estate agents were able to extend the contract for another one and half weeks, the homebuyer paid off additional debt, her credit was rescored, and the loan closed with mom and daughter moving into their new home shortly after.

On Good Friday, our offices were closing early, and we prepared our clients with the possibility that closing might not take place, having to wait until the coming Monday. Two of three families we were helping were even going to have stay in a hotel over the holiday weekend. We reached out to our funders and asked if there was any way they could help us get these loans closed. We rushed, pushed, and communicated with everyone up until minutes before the funding cutoff. We would have been happy with any effort to show our clients we care, but our funders gave extraordinary driven effort and delivered on not one, but on all three loan files! Their All-In efforts got all three families into their homes, kept them safe, and showed them that they were our #1 priority. We delivered for our company, we delivered for the realtors, and most importantly, we delivered for the families we serve!
