Big Bank or Mortgage Broker?
Helping Brittany was a huge victory! After picking up the call from her and finding out what her goals were, we were amazed to learn that she had not previously purchased a home. “This is the First Time a Home Has Been Within my Reach!”
My team and I heard an amazing story this week from a new client and first-time homeowner. Several years back, she was a young mother who had a daughter and a steady income. Unfortunately, she was hit by a truck when crossing the street and fell on hard times due to pain and the loss of her job. It left her oldest daughter living with her father and this mother with a new infant and living in shelters for a period of time. Over time, she pulled herself back up by finding a new job, was graciously allowed a place to stay, and is now ready to purchase her first home. Her two daughters told the seller that they looked forward to planting flowers and have dreams of running down a hallway. Our buyer said, "This is the first time a home has been within my reach!" Moving Mountains for Mom!
During the pandemic, nursing homes have been hit especially hard and heartbreak has abounded. When our client reached out to us with the desire to safely and quickly move his mother from a nursing home into their new shared home, we pulled our collective team efforts together with care and speed. We were going to move mountains for his mom! Most amazingly, we were cleared to close on the 27th of May - we then signed docs the same day and closed on the 29th! Our Funder, Lisa Eandi, pre-funded with lightening speed. Karen Shafer worked her magic in the Docs and Closing Department and Adam Wroe was our awesome Underwriter. My Assistant and Processor, Mickey Czegledy, held it all together for me. Truly, upstanding work from an outstanding team.
Closing on Time. Even When Times are Hard!
After months of searching different listings, and then life coming to a slowdown, our buyer was thrilled to find the perfect home! Having worked with LendUS in the past, the listing agent knew that we at LendUS could successfully deliver on our promises. We were able to work closely with the realtor to shorten the contingency period and offer a 25-day close. When all was said and done, we won the bid and successfully closed on time!
Keeping a distance but staying together to close on time!
Due to the pandemic a lot of people are adjusting the way they work, and so are we! We had a loan closing on May 15th and to keep everybody safe and socially distanced we went for a mobile solution to get everything done. We decided to use our space to receive the title company and the client separately, so we could have all documentation signed accordingly. The title company was in the parking lot, gave us the package, we took it inside and explained everything we needed for our client. After that we took the documents back to the title company in the parking lot and they went to their office to complete the package and send it to our closer so the loan could be funded. We are totally driven to do whatever it takes to help our clients close their loans no matter what the situation.
